Wilco return to Vancouver after 7 years! It sounds like the crowd missed them, their energy was
a stark contrast to the 2004 show when a guy in the front row leaning back with his legs outstretched
inspired Jeff to jokingly request that he not move because Glenn was painting him between songs.
I had my iPhone in my lap for most of the show, it's definitely listenable but I would love to hear
another source if one is out there. I'm surrounded by some pretty vocal "woo woo" folks but that's
better than the alternative! The band sounded incredible, I've missed them so much (we didn't get a
Schmilco or an Ode To Joy tour show, sadly neither album was heavily represented but I suppose that's
to be expected). I was actually hoping to hear MORE from Cruel Country, as that material was played
expertly - Pat is a force of nature when he plays guitar on these songs! I hadn't seen them in so
long that every song felt like visiting an old friend...and only Jeff can make me feel cool for
standing up and clapping over my head in unison with the entire crowd. Killer show!

Did the aforementioned 11/09/04 show ever surface, btw? I'd love to hear it again and it was one of
the few 2004 gigs I never saw circulating. Is the guy who was trying to preserve the 2004 tour a few
years ago still around? I might have some missing gigs on CD-R...

I'm also looking for the 12/05/08 Toronto opening set for Neil Young, where Glenn had a prior engagement
so they used 3 substitute drummers - never found a recording of that one either!
