So we finally made it to Iceland.
This was a very emotional trip for me in more ways than one, but in the end I made it to all the shows
and managed to have some beautiful off days on that great island called Iceland, seeing gorgeous waterfalls and geysirs
and of course the Þingvellir, took a sea cruise to watch whales (we saw one !) and spend a rainy day at the Blue Lagoon.
In between all of this, we saw three excellent shows (69 songs in 3 shows - no repeats !) at the very impressing Harpa.
I have included a few photos from each night to show its elegance and beauty.
Plus there was a crazy bonus show way out in the wild countryside, more on that later...

Highlights on the first night included Bird Without A Tail and Ashes Of American Flags (as almost always)
that featured a particularly fine and tasteful solo by Nels Cline. The sound even was a tad better on Nights 2 and 3,
it obviously took that first show to fine-tune and adjust the sound to the demands of the concert hall.

I have not made separate tracks for all the banter (The Trophy ...) or the encore break, they are at the end of the preceding song.
