The annual Whale Day celbration is now called World Whale Day and has
become quite a large event.

Each year the Pacific Whale Foundation sponsors a whale count, whale run,
whale parade and the celebration at Kalama Park.
The celebration goes on all day and features many major local artists.

This year, Willie K and the Warehouse Blues Band performed as part of the lineup.

Those who have heard and seen Willie K know that he is an extremely
versatile and talented artist. He can play traditional Hawaiian,
he usually sings in the opera around holiday time, he can talk story,
and play acoustic or rock.

He can also do blues / blues rock to knock down the house. In
this performance, Willie and the Warehouse Blues Band do just that.

The recording has spots of wind noise whenever the trade winds picked up.

Enjoy. Aloha from Maui.
