Liberated Silver Boot--Tendolar TD-112
"Loco in Beantown"
Lineage-SBD Recording-AIFF-WAV-FLAC-DIME
Going through the old boot box and came across this one. Right now one is going for $60 on ebay, so I thought some liberating would be in order. I lived in Cambridge from 1980-82 but never got a chance to see Willie live. To me he's part David Johansen and part Johnny Thunders, tossed into the Boston centrifuge and coming out wicked crazy for the better. This show ROCKS and is a lot of fun. Very Good sound, though a little light on the Bass end of things. There's a channel drop or two, but only for a second or so before things get right again. And, when he's not singing, Willie bangs away quite acquittingly on the piano! If anyone has info regarding the specific date of performance please chime in. True to Tendolar quality, track 8 is listed on the back tray card as "Hair;" track 9 is listed as "Everybody Knows." Well. track 9 is definitely "Too Much Monkey Business," so track 8 can't be both "Hair" AND "Everybody Knows." I'm sure an erudite Dimer will step in and clear up the matter.
