1st show of the 2011 UK Autumn Tour. Back after a 3 year gap at the small but well preserved Tivoli Theatre (built in 1936). It's an all seated venue so not very rock 'n roll to some folks, but the sound is always nice & clean, & the crowds are always very respectful which helps to get a clean recording. Having said that strangely there were a few problems with feedback here & there (but I've managed get rid of most of it during mastering).

I was lucky enough to get a seat in the 4th row centre stage, ideally placed to get a great recording. So this recording has minimal crowd intrustion, has a nice stereo image with the 2 guitars split left (Muddy M) & right (Andy P), and is very representative of of how nice this one sounded on the night.

For those interested - basic details of the mastering applied to my original Zoom H2 recording (using Wavelab6 & HarBal) are as follows:
A: EQ / Compression / Limiting (-0.5dB max) / Dithering to 16bit
B: WAVs edited to fit on to 2xCDRs plus fade in/out
C: track split

A note for any finicky audiophiles out there:
Mastering has been done to polish the raw master recording with the aim of enhancing the listening experience. If you prefer virgin recordings, unspoiled by any such amateur 'dabbling' then do not join in on this one. Be warned now ... I don't want any whinging! ;-)

But for the rest of you Dime'ers I recommend that you GO FOR THIS ONE ... you won't be disappointed!
I score the sound quality as 9 out of 10 ( = A- ); but hey! ... don't flame me if you don't agree ... & at least keep it friendly ;-)

If you have any comments, whether positive, negative or otherwise, I would love to read them ... don't be a lurker!
