Recorded from the right side aisle seated at a table on the inside railing on the main floor, half way back from the stage. This provides an unobstructed view of the stage with the people moving in the aisle slightly below my vantage point. The crowd around me was very respectful, a couple of close clappers and talkers were mostly quiet. The recording suffered from low end mud which I had to remove to bring out the mid to upper mid frequencies, which I boosted slightly.

This was not a sell out show but it was well attended and the crowd were really into seeing their heroes. I liked the bands early material so hearing two songs from the 1st LP and all of Argus was a treat. The sound was impressive and Andy Powells vocals are still strong. Both guitarists got plenty of solos in and delivered the classic Wishbone Ash sound. The bass was loud and clear in the room and Bob Skeat's performance was really tight; the drummer was very competent, not too busy, just keeping excellent time with a few stick twirls for the occasional flash. Im really glad I went and happy I can share it with the fans.

Support the band, buy their official product including the new release, Blue Horizon. Never sell this recording, never upload in a lossy format such as MP3. Go see the band on this tour if you have the chance, they put on a great show.

Enjoy! -----Solar Wind-----Atlanta
