Since guitar player Peter left the band Woven Hand played as a trio. I must say
I like them better this way (I never was a fan of Peter). The sound is more basic now, less
bombastic and the other instruments are more pronounced.
Of course the large hall of the Paradiso, which was not sold out, but filled 75-80%, is the perfect stage
for DEE.
I never rate my recordings. That's subjective, let the downloaders decide whether they like the sound
or not. Having said this I'm very satisfied with the way this recording came out, I hope you agree.
I brought 2 different pair of mics, my omni DPA's and the cardiod Chruch mics. Because the sound in
the large hall of the Paradiso can be a bit hollow and the audience noisy at times I decided to use the
mics Chris Church built for me, which proved to be a good decision. Also the new HQ cable added to the sound.
