Since there is some interest in the Patrick Moraz era of Yes I thought I'd dust off some old tapes and see what I could come up with that hasn't seen the light of day in awhile. This show was a bit of a milestone for Yes as it was their biggest audience ever with an estimated 100,000-150,000 people. Peter Frampton and Gary Wright opened the show and a huge fireworks display was also on tap. It was, afterall, the Bicentennial year in the US.
The recording here is just an 'ok' recording which I tweaked some. I have a suspicion the show was taped on one 90 minute cassette, but when I bought this bootleg way back in the early 80's it came to me as two tapes. There are some obvious tape flips and the show ends in the middle of Ritual.
