lineage: master DV tape (Sony)>wav>flac level 8

Chris Squire
Steve Howe
Alan White
Geoff Downes
Benoit David

Notes: My wife and I were supposed to bring our 15 year old son, and we were supposed
to meet another couple, but, the kid ended up going to cross country camp and the friends
ended up needing to spend the money elsewhere, so, it ended up being just the two of us.
This was the 13th time I've seen Yes (my wife has seen them 6 times, my son twice), the
2nd time with Benoit. As we both remark on tape, Benoit sounded pretty good. Listening
back, he sounds better at the time than on the tape - Jon pretty much always nailed these
parts, but, in my experience, that's more the exception than the rule when it comes to
classic rock-era singers live on stage. But, both times I've seen Benoit, I've found him to
be serviceable - my interest in Yes stemmed from Steve Howe's guitar playing and grew
from that. Of course, I miss Jon and want him there, but, some Yes is better than no Yes
to me. Your mileage may vary.

The video didn't turn out terrific - we're sort of chatty, and I was surprised to find
myself standing for large parts, so it's pretty shaky, but, the audio is decent, and I
understand that the two usual Yes audio tapers in this area did not attend, so I release this
in hopes that in will spurn someone with a better source to share it.
