Notes: I've been a prisoner of my decades-old Yes experiences, nearly paralyzed while waiting for the perfect Yes lineup. I casually had my eye on tickets for the Warner Theater performance while looking for taping opportunities and had given up the quest due to the lack of good seats when I noticed that Yes was also performing in Charlottesville. An eleventh row, dead center seat was staring me in the face so I took the plunge mainly to feed my taping addiction. I had a week to pry open my closed mind during which I decided to give this band a chance. I was rewarded with stellar performances from Mr. Howe and Mr. Squire, and it was impossible not to like Jon Davison as he sang these classic songs with pure joy. I've read some recent complaints about various members of the band but my only criticism is too minor to even mention. I'm glad I left my baggage at the door instead of dreaming of the past or some uncertain future. Buy a ticket and see this band while you can. "Here we can be."
