The first few minutes are uneven as I had I to wander around to find a quite spot where as few people as possible were yakking, also i missed about 5 minutes as i met a few friends it was hard to get away from s i was having such a cool time . Eventually I found a spot where people hardly talked at all. Bass player had to have a cord replaced due to a tech issue that has been removed, the keyboard player filled in his part until the bass was fixed, this was a superb set overall by class players.
Sound quality was excellent, apart from an over heavy bass mix on this stage that persisted all weekend, my core sounds did not like that much , being inclined to pick up bass rather well. Its had to be taken down considerably and there are still traces of distortion that cant be removed.
It was insanely hot all weekend, around about 37c during this set .Entire weekend was around 39 c daily, hitting 40c on Sat, it was so hot I only was up to attending Friday and Sunday due to my considerable age.
equipment due to the heat i had to resort to using my Core Sounds binaural mid range model, (no bass roll off as my unit is stuffed ) THIS HAs les high end than my usual rig > sony PCM M10 > 16bit wav >Adobe audition- adjust levels and lower bass with various tools, > lower applause using Acon decline and declip >XACT ( LEVEL 8 ) Playback for editing through Sony MDR-7506 cans.
Stealth mode 20 metres from left stack and bass was still a bit loud !
