Really great concert by this legendary band. If you know your "AC/DC" or "Ramones" formula kind of band and you cant get enough of those rocking 3 chords-bluesrock, then this concert will punch you out. This is a band that everyone should see at least once in a lifetime. I can now cross this off my bucketlist.
I must admit that when I was younger, alot younger than I am today, that the music of "ZZ Top" didnt catch me as much as their "half-erotic-porno-kind of music-videos". After all, this was way before you could watch pretty women with big bobs and long legs on your computers. Well, time has changed since you would record the video to "Legs" on your VHS-Videotape recoder and play and rewind the tape to see those hot women lurking about and getting on with their business. Damn, those 80s and early 90s women were really nice, no fake boobs, it all went downhill in the end of the 90s.
For those nostalgic nerds who got a soft spot for those "softerotic musicvideos", check it:
Anyway, sorry for these distant and cheesy memories/rant, but yeah those were the days when MTV really played music. Recording came out really nice, not too much crowd interference, occasional screaming, talking clapping, some minor phasing, but mainly in between songs ;-) Weather conditions were tricky just before the concert started, some quite heavy rain and wind, but 5-10 minutes before "ZZ Top" entered the stage it calmed down. I almost thought it would piss down with heavy rain and wind, but almost the complete concert continued with only some clouds above but without no further rain or too much wind. All in all a really nice recording if I might say it myself. Check samples to decide if you dig it too. When your wife and kids are out...turn up your stereo loud and let there be "Rock N Roll Blues", after all its no one, no less, than the mighty "ZZ Top", Enjoy!

**** Enjoy, keep it lossless, no monkey business etc ****
