This was the recorder's first use of his new Tascam. Track 01 gets started nicely but almost immediately security moved in and asked pointedly that he turn off the recorder and put it in his back pocket for the rest of the show. He complied but it turned out he did NOT turn the machine off, it started recording about 14 seconds before track 2 starts. So track 1 is faded out just prior to the noisy intervention. The rest of the evening was recorded (unknowingly) with the Tascam jammed into his bluejeans.

Surprising little was done (this looked awful in Audacity) given the large difference in volume. Almost all noises were in the left channel but all were smaller than one frame in size and were all between musical tracks, so after they were smoothed one pass with the 'Normalization' effect at default settings was all that was applied. There is a good bit of crowd noise here (the recorder was pointed AWAY from the stage) but it's listen-able for all that.

The venue allowed no photography but had several 'house' photographers on hand. The photos were shared the next day on the venue's Facebook page, so quite a few are gathered here. Of note is the 'Dance Contest' sequence where audience members take to the stage to dance to 'Keep It Greasy' while the audience picks the best dancer.

If I'm not mistaken this was the first performance after a break from touring with Return to Forever, the band's first full-night performance of the 2011 fall tour.
