This is a great sounding recording I made of a one-off performance by John Etheridge and his all-star ensemble on an outdoor stage in this lovely London park. The band rip through some of Zappa's best known works and not only do justice to the originals but put their own highly individual stamp on the solos. This should be of interest not only to Zappateers but to fans of Soft Machine, John Etheridge and great music in general. Teena Lyle is outstanding as vocalist but was quite an eyeful as well!
Check John's site for more details on this outfit and his other endeavours.
