Excellent master AUD recording

Let the good times roll, indeed!

Here's a great show for fans of New Orleans-style/zydeco party music. This was my first time seeing this fine Philadelphia-based band; the band's sax player, C.C. Crabtree, also plays in the Ben Vaughn Quintet--which is how I learned about Zydeco-a-Go-Go.

It was a really fun show, and the recording came out really nice since I was in one of the front rows and didn't have any chatty people sitting near me. The setlist features many well-known New Orleans/cajun/zydeco songs and has some of the band's original songs sprinkled in. I should also mention that the venue's sound engineer (Wayne) was invited to play fiddle on many songs during the latter half of the show--and he was really good!

Zydeco-a-Go-Go has two full-length CDs available and I picked up both of them after the show. Special thanks to C.C. Crabtree and to Pete Eshelman for the kindness. Please check out Zydeco-a-Go-Go if you're in the NJ/PA/DE area and also consider buying the band's excellent CDs--both are very good.

If you like this torrent, won't you please take a moment to post a comment on the board? It only takes a moment, and believe me, it takes A LOT longer to prepare/upload a show for others to enjoy than it does to download and run.
