Notes from Ray Hutchison:
The tape was given to me by a friend who worked as soundboard technician for sound crew
that accompanied ABB on 1972 and 1973 concerts. I am not certain if the recording comes
from the original reel-to-reel tape (if so, it was recorded over another concert) or if
it is a first generation copy of that tape; included on the tape are bits and pieces of
at least one other concert (not ABB).

the original rtr recording had substantial buzz most likely from one of the guitar amps
(and generally unlistenable!) and so several iterations of noise reduction were done
(by Skip and others) to remove the buzz while retaining as much ambiance of the recording
as possible (complete reduction of the humm resulted in a flat sound).
This final version is from Skip.

This is a very nice performance. On many of the 1972 shows Berry really
carries the band. The bass figures strongly throughout the performance.
Dickey is playing slide and is doing some very interesting things that are
not present in other versions of these songs.

This is on just one disc although it does appear to be the entire
performance (Academy of Music usually booked bands for early and late shows,
and perhaps this accounts for the relatively short performance).
