George Harrison 30 November 1974, afternoon show Chicago Stadium, Chicago, Illinois, USA Source - "Live at the Chicago Stadium/Live in Chicago" [different title on front and spine!] (Publisher - RMG). Audience recording of George Harrison's afternoon show at the Chicago Stadium on 30 November 1974. It's an average-sounding audience recording: ok for its era - low sound levels, a bit muddy and indistinct, but certainly listenable. George is in very good humour (eg introducing the three horn players as the "Three Stooges"), and gets a rapturous reception for the show: it's certainly not the sour performance and vibe the tour's reputation would have us believe - at least for this show. The Indian music section is missing. Contrast clause: this is a different version of the show to the one seeded here - www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=330264. Sound is extremely hissy, not very enjoyable." StevenV, Aug 2002 "I've heard worse recordings, but it is quite poor. Low sound levels and quite distant. The show sounds like a good one though, with George in good humour, chatting a little and making jokes." Aidanymous, Dec 2007 Artwork included.
