From an unsold, uncrowded section (empty), opposite to the audience, in a theatre in the round.
We had one security guy, an old man, who could have cared less that we chose to be in that section, away from the noisy younger audience,... "good choice" he said, with a nod.
This theatre is round, indoor, with sloped ampitheatre type seating. The stage was at the low point of the 360¼ seating. And it was a round stage that rotated in 360¼ revolutions, eventually facing all audience members. The pa was over the stage, and also 360¼, but stationary. We were opposite of the audience, 180¼, and facing them. The audience was only 1/4 of the pie (as far as venue capacity and "shape"). The band looked lost for 3/4 of the revolution, without much audience around them.
At one point the band was passing its mics off to these high school surf-chicks in the front row, so, you'll hear them singing to the songs in a few instances (t07).
A fun night of kicking back, and listening to the original Uhuru, without any crowd or security issues.
peace and wellness to you and yours
