Some Off You Asked For A Recording I Found In "The Songhunter Archives" After I Uploaded A Recent Chuck Prophet Recording (Http://Www.Dimeadozen.Org/Torrents-Details.Php?Id=116491). It's The First Recording I Made Of Chuck Prophet When He Was Over In The Netherlands To Play Two Shows To Promote His Album "Balinese Dancer". Recorded Both Gigs (This One, And A Couple Of Days Later In The Hague, Paard). I Lost The Recording Of The Hague, But I Remember That One Was Shorter And Less Attractive. The Dylan-Cover They Did This Evening Of "Abandoned Love" Is Beautiful ! Hope To See More Early Recordings Here On Dime By Chuck Prophet. I Re-Listen "Balinese Dancer" This Week And It's A Warm, Great Album. Chuck Told Me, They Did All The Recording At Nighttime, Funny I Listened A Lot To It During Long Nightdrives.

Enjoy !

"If you like this, keep in mind that Chuck has officially released some great live stuff including Turn the Pigeons Loose (Live in San Fran 2000 w/ Mission Express) and occasionally puts out homemade bootlegs in limited runs with handscreened covers. Up until recently, he was still selling one of the most recent of these at shows -- one titled "As Seen on TV. (Gumbrinus)"
