boombox's notes april 2006:

The first of two concerts played that day at the festival. Joe
went on late, due to the previous act over-running a bit and we
feared a truncated set, but we still got a good hour's worth.

The borrowed resonator guitar wouldn't work, hence the long
pause after Camouflage and the comment about using it in the" next
show", (when it he was able to use it - eventually). Breakfast For
Two was actually a request shouted out by my mate - it made his
day when Joe played it!!

The tracking on this is not exactly as I would have it - some
banter is presented at the beginning of CD tracks, but I have not
altered the tracking as the source is already in limited
circulation. Also, for some reason, the recorder does not seem to
have been patched into all the mics used, so stage announcements
are almost inaudible. However, Joe's guitar and mic feeds are spot
on, except for some of his inter-song banter which is very faint.
