DEREK & The DOMINOS: London, Marquee Club Aug. 12th 1970-Great Aud.! plus Dominos First Appearance! 2nd Gen. great Aud!
As another addition to the recent Derek & the Dominos uploads,
here are 2 great early performances with very rare songs:
8/12/70 Marquee Club, London:
was the earliest tape from this Band I got arround 1983 from Sam Romanghi!
(anybody remembering him? He got the biggest tradelist I had ever seen in these days)
For some reason I never found a better sounding copy than the one he sent me!
Also the wow & flutter prolems, on " Little Wing" only, were present on all other copies I ever got.......
London, Lyceum Ballroom, June 14 th 1st show ever:
My cassette tape is 2 nd Gen., traded originally by the taper as:
E. Clapton Band w/Dave Mason, London, RAH Dec. 12th 1969,
since I didnīt found any evidence for the taperīs original date,
Iīm using the best fitting date & venue from Marc Robertyīs book " Eric Clapton", but give also any info I got, for further research!
The performance included here is in any case, a great, "pre Dominos" performance!
