From Deadlists:

COMMENTS There are brief difficulties with the PA during Cold Rain which
occur again at the beginning of the first attempt at Mama Tried and bring it
to a halt. After a pause for repairs they start this tune over. Hard To
Handle cuts off near its conclusion on the master, as does Dancin.
Lovelight cuts in near its beginning. The jam in fast 8s interpolated into
That's It is extraordinary. Plainly the four-show run at Fillmore West with
Miles Davis inspired an extra measure of adventure. The old partial
DeadBase list and also a more complete list supplied by Rob Eaton have a
China Cat > Rider before Mama Tried but these don't show up on the
circulating tape and may be erroneous.

Eaton lists:

04/15/70 Winterland Arena, San Francisco Ca - complete
4.9, 102min, Sbd, A0D1, Reel M->Dat 1, 44k
7inch Master Reel@7.5ips 1/2trk->3700 x 0->3800 x 1

Grateful Dead
Family Dog at the Great Highway
San Francisco CA
February 04,1970

Lineage: MSR>C>D>CD Tracks 2-7 ** - Two added tracks sourced from PBS TV broadcast

1. Hard to Handle ** 6:35
2. China Cat Sunflower > 5:30
3. I Know You Rider 4:23
4. St. Stephen > 2:26
5. Not Fade Away > 7:00
6. St. Stephen > 2:22
7. Midnight Hour 8:27
8. Jam (w. Jefferson Airplane
and Santana) ** 9:29

Total time: 46:15

Recorded by PBS at the Family Dog on 02-04-70 and originally broadcast
on 12-13-70 for a television documentary entitled, "San Francisco Rock:
A Night At The Family Dog" filmed at the Family Dog on 02-04-70.
The China > Rider has been matched with this date but the rest of the
setlist does not match either Deadbase or Deadlists which also lists a
06:26 Hard to Handle prior to China > Rider and notes that sets were also
performed by the Jefferson Airplane and Santana. The St. Stephen > NFA >
St. Stephen > Midnight Hour following China > Rider is continuous with
the China > Rider in terms of the source quality, crowd and overall
musical feel. Accordingly, it appears that this is all one set.

Hard to Handle and the "All Star Jam" included here and sourced from the
PBS TV broadcast were missing from the previously circulating tape.

There has been some confusion about this tape where it was initially
labeled as 08-30-70, which was a KQED broadcast called Calibration.
This is a well-documented show though, and the set list is completely
different from the one above.
