mkw notes:
---> This recording is afflicted with a dozen or two very brief
(tenths of seconds) PCM dropouts. While that is unfortunate,
this appears to be the best recording of 4/24/71 in circulation.
---> Good Lovin' is *not* cut (contrary to deadbase)

Tracking note:
The following statement was included with the MKW notes:
---> I moved Casey Jones D2 to D1. While the file names within the
md5 files have changed, the md5 signatures themselves have not.
However, this is not the case with this source. The apparent original
tracking remains unchanged. This show can be burned by set rather than
by the given tracking.

Flac encoding notes:
All processing with Trader's Little Helper
Shn - st5 generated
Shn > Flac ( level 8 )
Flac - st5 generated and matched to Shn st5

Tagging notes:
Show information is embedded within the header of each flac file.
It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac
files. If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be
stripped, however audio data will remain unaffected. If you must
transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy.
Use st5 to validate audio integrity.
Md5 values will change if tagging is altered.

Caveat:
This was my first show on a picture perfect spring day. The Dead were
headliners to what Duke billed as Joe College Weekend. Preceeding the
Dead were the Paul Butterfiled Blues Band and The Beach Boys. The show
closed with the Dead and Beach Boys jamming together on stage. The
visual contradiction spoke volumes. The Beach Boys in their matching
blue & white pin stipe suites & hats, along side The Dead. Well
you know the time they were a changing. Needless to say, it was very
unique indeed to hear The Dead playing surfer tunes. Too bad that encore
performance apparetnly has not been preserved.
