General notes:

Of course I frequed when I saw Charlie's SBD seeds of both Hollywood
Palladium shows. Recent fresh Apogee A/D transfers of Harvey Kaslow's
classic AUDs by Matt Smith (instigated by Dr. Bertrando perhaps?) set
the stage for a matrix. The two sources compliment each other nicely,
although both sources sound great on their own, so this is by no means
a rescue mission, but just another shnid to file away, or play loudly
if that's your thing.

Editing Notes:

- Pitch/Synch
Unlike the AUD source from 8-5-71 (shnid=94260), this AUD source is the
closest in pitch of the two matrix sources, so I decided to use it as
my master pitch/synch ref.

SBD Pitch adjustment ranges:
d1t01 > d1t06: +6 to +12 cents
d1t07 > d1t08: -0.1 to +1.2 cents
d1t09 > d1t11: +5 to +10 cents
d2t01 > d2t05: -3 to +4 cents (until cut in The Other One)
d2t05 > d2t07: +11 to +13 cents (post cut/reel change)
d2t08 : +2 to +3 cents
d2t09 > d2t10: -1 to +3 cents
d3t01 : -3 to +6 cents

- Dynamics
No EQ or NR was applied to any of these sources. I applied very sparingly
Waves L2 (limiter@ -0.4) to the master 2 buss to keep all sources contained,
the levels rarely hitting zero, thus the limiting is quite scarce.

- Envelope Edits
The following are places where the SBD and AUDs had splices, holes or
incomplete coverage in reference to the final matrix timeline, excluding
in between song tuning/crowd.

SBD:
d2t05 (01:28 - 02:23) - missing

AUD:
d1t06 (00:00 - 07:03) - missing all (El Paso)
d3t01 (19:57 - 21:01) - missing

Many thanks to all involved in the making of these recordings:
Rex Jackson for recording the SBD and Charlie Miller for editing and getting
it out there. Thanks to Harvey Kaslow and Craig Todd for making the wonderful
AUD recording, Matt Smith for the A/D transfer and Will Boswell, Rob Bertrando
and Charlie Miller for their parts in making the AUDs available.
Special Thanks goes out to those at the Mastering Plant who were involved
and anyone who was responsible in the surfacing of the SBD - you rock!

Enjoy,
Chappy

Tagging notes:
Show information is embedded within the header of each flac file.
It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac
files. If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be
stripped, however audio data will remain unaffected. If you must
transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy.
Use ffp to validate audio integrity.
Md5 values will change if tagging is altered.
