Phil Matera, 1/24/2013, gd1972-10-18.sbd.matera.123571.sbeok.flac16

As always, I started "remastering" with the intent of doing it quickly, but
adequately enough to my ears. That is never enough (as I am sure you
musical editing freaks are aware) so I went through a number of iterations to
get a very much enhanced recording. I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely
(imho) that this came out.

One thing that made it difficult to make it sound pristine, is that there
is an inherent distortion on the right channel. What I like about the distortion,
is that it is mostly on Weir's guitar, and it gives him a more distinctive sound.

All tracks were balanced via Cool Edit. The amplitudes of many tracks
were very low. These were all brought up to a reasonable level. Jerry
was way low in the mix, so a bit of the balance was edged towards the left
channel. All tracks were Quick-Filtered to bring out more of the highs
and bring back the sorely missing bass lines.

Fixes: cuts on Saturday Night and Morning Dew > Playin'
taken from 7295 and 're-massaged" to match all other tracks.

Show information is embedded within the headerof each flac file.
It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac files.
If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be stripped,
however audio data will remain unaffected.
If you must transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy.
Use ffp to validate audio integrity.
Md5 values will change if tagging is altered.
