Notes From Tim Backstrom:
The seating was open floor. We were centrally located on the floor right
behind the soundboard. The deck used was a TEAC cassette deck with Dolby
and selectable tape bias (I don't know the model number) powered by a
motorcycle battery and a DC/AC inverter. Dolby was used. The selectable
bias permitted me to shift from the Maxell UD's to the BASF chrome tape
just before the Weather Report Prelude -> Dark Star -> Eyes of the World->
Playing in the Band jam. I'm pretty sure the microphones were Beyers, but
I don't know the model. Only one mic was used for the second set because
some stoned hippie accidentally kicked one of the jacks between sets and
we could not repair it without a soldering iron.
