Note from the taper:

"Sets I and II were taped from mid-field, and there is some wind noise
--evident on the first song, especially. Also some airplane noises at
times. Set III we moved closer, and the recording quality improves ....
and that is an excellent jam, one of the seminal trucking/other one's in
my personal experience. :)"

"5/20/73 was recorded using a sony Condensor mike and a small mono Sony
-- possibly a TC-3 -- onto BASF casettes. My copy was from the casette
masters, playback deck unknown, recorded onto a reel of Sony tape upon
my Sony TC-366, at 3-3/4 IPS single-track. Your copy was made by
playing back said reel on my Revox A77, recording upon a Denon 3-head

note: small MC cut/splice near the end of Playin' In The Band

note: master tape flip at start of Stella Blue
