THE GRATEFUL DEAD
October 2, 1981
The Rainbow Theatre
London, England

Recording and transfer info:
SBD > MC? > C > C
C > wav > Sound Forge 10 > TLH > flac

FIXES AND NOTES:
Disc 1, track 1, 2 small aud patches
Disc 1, track 2, small aud patch
Disc 1, track 6, aud patch from last verse to end
Disc 1, tracks 7, 8, are aud recording, (sbd missing)
Disc 2, track 1, small aud patch
Disc 3, track 3, small aud patch
Disc 3, track 4, fades in at start

All patches, plus set 1, tracks 7 and 8 are taken from
aud shnid 80289. A huge thanks to that seeder.

This show, a major upgrade to shnid 6147 of 2001, is a great example
of what an unscrupulous person did to "personalize" a tape to tape transfer.
The brief "cuts", probably done in the 1st gen copy were intentional, as the
wav files prove, and, are here forever. I did my best to fill the gaps, and,
while not perfect, at least this fine GD performance is now a near complete
show and is back in circulation.

Got this and several other 1981 shows in a mail trade from a Deadhead in
Germany about fifteen years ago. All are on Maxell XL II 90 minute cassettes.
