Notes:
Big Boss Man with Bonnie Raitt. Iko Iko with Taro Hart. Victim through Drums with Airto Moreira.
A murky 10-second patch in the SBD source at the beginning of Sugar Magnolia was removed. AUD-only for this brief section.
Jeff Bowen's recording patches 1:31 of Women Are Smarter in the AUD source, #109949 via Brad Foster, 6/27/10.
This matrix includes the Midnight Countdown from the SBD broadcast mix, which is audience feed with the broadcast announcers talking over it. No matrixing needed for this segment. I reduced the levels here because the announcers' voices (plus the audience feed) were louder than the following Grateful Dead vocals and music, which were at proper levels.
Lots of popping balloons during Iko Iko.
Two clicks removed in Dark Star and GDTRFB.
Mattes switched from Schoeps to B&K mics for this show and it is perhaps even a nicer sound for the matrix. The SBD was more dry for much of the second set, however, with the UltraMatrix ambient mic turned down or off frequently. Still a very good sound here with much needed AUD mixed in now.
