COMMENTS: This show could possibly [hansokolow: definitely does!] have a CM in the lineage. D1t08 (The Promised Land) Left channel drop outs from 5:40-5:50 replaced with right channel. D2t01 (Scarlet Begonias) first couple of notes are clipped. I also spliced D2t05 (Drums) and D3t01 (Space) together before tracking for seemless future use(no cass. flip noticeable). D3t02 (All Along The Watchtower) static left channel from :45-:52 and 1:42-1:44 removed and replaced with right channel. D3t03 (Attics Of My Life) digital pop @ :01 on left channel removed and replaced with right channel. D3t04 (Sugar Magnolia) after the song was over it had about 5 minutes of silence that was removed. I know this seems like alot done here and there might be more problems. I do have to say this show is really good and the recording as well.

hansokolow's notes:
I went to this show with a buddy of mine, who had just found out a van full of friends of his had overturned on the highway, coming back from the Eugene shows, and everyone had been killed. It was a heavy night for him. It was the only show of the run we could make, and we frankly weren't expecting much from a Wednesday show, so we were bowled over that we got a Scarlet-> Fire, Estimated-> Terrapin to start the second set. This really is a tight show all around. And listening again, I remember just how powerfully Jerry sang this So Many Roads. It is intense.
This SBD definitely has an analog generation in it. I performed a slight bit of EQ work to minimize the tape hiss.
The DAUD is overblown, and it causes distortion in the louder parts. The first set is much worse than the second. There is quite a lot of it, but since there's nothing to do, really, but cut out those sections, I left it as is. It's a nice-sounding AUD otherwise, and the only on in circulation.
set 1:
There's a fair amount of monkeying around with Jerry's guitar sound during Greatest Story, and a lot of it sounds kind of canned on the both sources. Also the DAUD gets overblown here a lot.
Just over two minutes of crowd missing on the SBD between Friend Of The Devil and Easy Answers. No music is affected.
The sound guys mess with Bobby's vocal levels a lot in Easy Answers, and the DAUD gets overblown a lot here. You'll probably skip this song anyway.
You'd better get some splints prepared for your heartbone if you plan on listening to Jerry sing this So Many Roads. Oof!
Digi weirdness on the SBD at the end of Promised Land, from 5:49 to the end of the track.
set 2:
There are almost 6 minutes of crowd on the DAUD before Scarlet starts, and the first few seconds of Scarlet are missing on the SBD.
There is crowd noise missing from the SBD between Fire On The Mountain and Estimated.
The first few seconds of Estimated are a little wonky, as the tape winds up, I guess. I wrestled with it for a long time, and this is as good as I can get it.
There digital noise for a split-second on the SBD in Estimated at 5:25, which I cut out.
At the track break that starts Terrapin, there's a weird blip on the SBD, possibly the result of a rejoined tape-flip. I cut it out.
There are some digi-blips and some scratchiness on the DAUD in Drums at 11:12. I cut out the blips.
There is what sounds like a cut at 17:53 in Drums, right before Space starts, but it exists on both sources, and I think it actually happened, so I left it.
The first few minutes of Space had some intense fluctuations in tape speed on the SBD. I think I rode the snake pretty well.
There is a cut in the SBD during Space at 3:34, for about 3 seconds.
There's what sounds like a cut in Space at 12:35, but it's on both sources, and I think it's Jerry switching his guitar sounds around while playing.
There is a cut on the SBD of about a half-second at the transition between Space and Watchtower.
The band has some serious technical problems in Watchtower, starting at 2:52.
More horrible glitches at the top of Attics, then later, starting at 1:09 and again 3:44, that really happened. And even more in Sugar Magnolia. Left alone.
Both sources have a break between Sugar Magnolia and the encore. The DAUD has about 30 seconds of crowd before the cut. Then there's about 9 seconds of SBD before the DAUD comes back in.
The SBD cuts out at the end of Lucy In The Sky, at about 4:37. The rest is all DAUD.
