Heavy, heavy security with searches at the door, and roving throughout the audience the whole show. My backup tape was confiscated at the door, so I went into tape conservation mode, with pauses during Jerry's smoke breaks. The lights never dropped on the floor seats, and biker security was in the light rack, and on the balcony lip, looking for tapers. They saw the guy next to me, to my immediate left, who was recording with a handheld pair of Shure compact cards, p48v, and a sony tc-d5m, a larger rig. He was busted right after the first song. The security hauled him out, and literally tore his gear down (which was duct taped all over his seat) and threw it into a plastic bag. He did not return after that. This freaked me out big-time!
So, I was pretty stressed, and this is the result of what I was able to capture that evening, and the whole run.
Hopefully you'll look beyond the rough fringes and enjoy it for what it is.

peace to all

Mike
