Notes:

This is a very nice audience recording with incredible stereo separation. The taper stood at the very lip of the Commordore stage (about waist high), with no one between him and the wall of sound. Johnny's guitar is dominant, but he's mostly on the left channel, Jon Paris' bass is squarely in the right channel, and Tom Compton's drums are well-represented in both channels, with great stereo imagery. The only minor problem is that the taper is recording from a blind spot, in terms of sound reinforcement. The vocals are audible, not too distant, but a little less than up-front.

You can tell by the opening warm-up riffs that Johnny is going to be throwing it down all night long. This is some of the shreddin'est guitar wrangling I've ever heard. If you love Johnny Winter, you're going to love this show!
