I offer up here another nice Joni Mitchell set from her 1972 solo tour. This one does not quite reach the quality of the Carnegie Hall release, but is not far off from my previously-seeded Philadelphia Academy of Music torrent. Great performance, with an ebullient Joni, and some setlist variation, including an oustanding "Woman Of Heart And Mind."

This one is from an audience recording, and offers vocals which are clear, but a bit distant--listen to the sample below. Frequency analysis shows this to be lossless. The venue is also somewhat noisy in between songs (taper must have been near the back--you can hear a creaky door occasionally), but the audience is very polite and quiet during the songs. Very low hiss floor, no dropouts or oversaturations, which often mar recordings from this tour. Overall, a solid B+, a worthy addition to a Joni collection, especially if you like the Blue/For The Roses period.

Not sure if this is a complete show or not, 15 songs seems a bit short to me, and there is no indication of the final song. If not, only 1 or 2 songs are missing. The good news: fots on a single 80-min CDR.

Enjoy!
