Another fine recording by Chris of a great show. During 2000 Little Feat began expanding
their repertoire with covers in addition to new originals on their studio album, Chinese
Work Songs. This show features Sample in a Jar (Phish),Takes A Lot to Laugh (Bob Dylan),
a rare Come into My Kitchen (Robert Johnson), and Rag Mama Rag (The Band). With all the
Feat classics included as well, for me the capper is the too-seldom played original Spider's
Blues (Ya Might Need It Sometime). Stuff it all into a beautiful old theater with great
acoustics and it makes for a wonderful evening -- then and now.
