boombox's notes december 2005:

Not the most perfect recording of Marty, but his shows seem to be
quite rare. There is a fair bit of hiss on this recording and a few
pops here and there. There are also a couple of irritating audience
members who can be heard at times calling for Caroline etc.

However this does not detract from a good show. Marty is in fine voice
and has the opportunty to play some of his solo work, some of which
is rockier than one might expect from the guy who is usually known as
more of a ballads guy.

I am seeding it as received in trade with the Bodacious DF filler on it.
As the Bodacious DF album is long out-of-print, for some this will be
their first hearing of Bodacious DF, who metamorphosed out of Grootna.
These out-takes or demos, which were not featured on the brief CD
release are quite interesting. Aside from the diferent versions of the
album tracks, we have a bit of a mystery track - Volunteers. The
exact source of this extended, obviously live work-out of the song is
unknown; I have seen it described as being perhaps from Jefferson
Airplane's "Volunteers" sessions in 1969, but there is an audience
present. In addition, the vocalist doesn't sound like Paul nor Marty!!

Enjoy!!
