-my first post-Covid/healthy again Rob & Chuck/Nate Wilson in band moe show! Tour opener and first time at the Meow too! What a unique place like a
mini-burner world inside! Very psyched to see one of my all time & old time jam band favorites with a small crowd of tight moeheads! What a fun time
and the band did not disappoint just tight and hot from end to end. Chuck and Rob showing no ill after effects stole the show imo. Rob was amazing
end to end and some of Chuck's leads went to Hendrix territory in a natural way! The 2 drummers were just amazing filling in and keeping the beat
simultaneously! Nate adds quite the layer with the keys especially: the long solo starting off "Lazarus" & his take on Steely Dan's "Do It Again"
are highlights! and a great flute solo or two also! The 3 intrumentals (ZNZ, JC, MDM) they just nail exquisitely together and ditto with "Puebla".
"Kyle's" is one of my favorite two moe songs, so my night was made at that point! Really no low points in this one. Thanks guys! You rock!
-tour opener and Rob's luggage did not show up so in 1st set he's wearing some local thrift store clothes, but he comes out and plays the 2nd set
in a dress and pigtails. Everyone (especially the crew) got a good laugh!
-I was one of 3 tapers all of us set up by soundboard - real small room so not very far back and centered! Excellent sound! Place was pretty packed
by showtime so get the hooting and hollering of the fans around the soundboard occasionally.
-support the artists! Go see Moe! Been seeing them since the early 90's dozens of times and never a bad show! LOVE YOU GUYS! THANK YOU for all the music
over the years!
