here's taperpat's info :

This show at the Seattle Coliseum was recorded on a Sony TC-388 reel to reel @ 3 & 3/4 ips using Maxell UD 35-90 tape. I used a direct XLR output from the board which was a mono signal. The house mix was by Bruce Craig.

Paul was using a pick up band featuring Little Joe Blue on guitar and the great Dick Powell (Crome Syrcus, Little Bill & the Bluenotes) on keyboards. The first 3 songs were Walking Blues, Too Many Drivers, & Born In Chicago. I then had to flip reels which is why Last Night has the beginning missing on Dave's torrent.
( This note was regarding my original incomplete version - davmar77 )

Also on the bill that day was Brian Butler, Robert Cray, Clifton Chenier, & Etta James. I was a friend of Brian's (still a wonderful player out of Seattle) which allowed me access to the board. I just threw a coat over the deck after his set was over and kept a low profile. Bumbershoot was pretty loose back then.
