The original recording was made for KGNU-FM in Boulder, CO from a mono SBD feed to a VHS HiFi with limiter on. The cassette was made from a direct dub of the VHS recording to a Nakamichi 480.

I was in charge of the KGNU recording crew, although at the time of this particular show I was on the deck of the Muscatel Flats condos a couple hundred yards from the stage, wrapped up in blankets and kicking back in a chaise longue. Looking up at the vast nighttime sky over Telluride while listening to the end of this set was nearly an out of body experience.
