notes:
this is a speedcorrected version of the Waterbury recorder 1 coming from a lower source than the one
commonly circulating.
sounds quite spotless, whereas all the versions from the first recorder around had digital spots so: or
this source was originally spotless or I guess here was made some kinda cleaning-work too (??)
hey JFG are you there to give us an answer? ;)
anway, this is my favorite version from this recorder among the ones I got at now, though I notice here
was used maybe a bit of dehissing or some sorta compression.
the common version circulating from the first recorder was not save from that too anyway, it was sourced
probably from a 'compressed tape' (don't ask me about technical names about that, I have no idea) I don't
really think that cut on the 16000hz is due to whatever digital compression process ... 'compressed tapes'
were not so unusual in the tape-traders circuit as it was confirmed me lately too about another show
actually (digital or not it's always a compression anyway ;PP)
I did notice some little edits here and there as well, dunno the cause of that (JFG??? are u there!!?)
