Comments: Nice soundboard recording from a 1st gen. cassette; Rick gives a pleasant, laid-back performance here with a couple of side musicians (sorry I don't know their names -- "Shredni" is listed on my cassette label for one song; I'm not sure if Jorma is present or not). His performances were always engaging and warm; this is nice mellow music to have on in the background while you're doing other things.

The sound quality is what one would expect from a 1st gen. board -- very good. The recording is a little quiet; I did not do any normalization to help it, figuring I would leave it to individuals' own tastes. I did use Magix to apply light de-hissing -- there is very little hiss on my tape because of the generation, but it was still noticeable because of the low levels.

Well worth the d/l for even a casual fan of The Band.
