Olof addisionally suggests the song might have been written by Bob Dylan:

The dates come from Glen Dundas' "Tangled Up In Tapes" 1999 edition. (Olof sets 15 April 1987 as the date the song was recorded, Krogsgaard does not list the session at all (cf. The Bridge #10, Summer 2001)
I wonder if the "alcohol consumption by the musicians" story also refers to Mr Bob Dylan?!? :)
