Hi all, I'm happy to present to you a great rare performance by Roy Orbison from his 1967 tour to Melbourne, Australia. This concert was held at Festival Hall. I've never seen it on DIME or anywhere else before. A great historical artifact from the vaults!

This comes from an Australian radio broadcast, as the announcement at the end of the show gives away. A friend of mine was able to transfer the concert from Reel to WAV for me, and very kindly allowed me to post it here!

Trivia: The Big Show tour with Roy Orbison, The Walker Bros and The Yardbirds plays Melbourne Festival Hall, supported by Johnny Young and The Mixtures. After the show a custom-made Gibson Les Paul loaned to Yardbirds guitarist Jimmy Page for the tour by Keith Richards is stolen, as well as Fender guitar belonging to Mixtures guitarist Laurie Arthur
