Tut Taylor Archive Reel #13 contains the first half of a December 5, 1973 WKDA-FM, Nashville, TN live radio concert
from the Exit Inn, Nashville, TN featuring Tut Taylor and Norman Blake. Both Tut and Norman are in especially fine
form. This is a great-sounding recording that features several previously unissued tunes from the duo. Tut Taylor
Archive Cassette #9 contains the broadcast in lower fidelity (with one tune cut) while Reel #83 features the second
portion of the set in impeccable sound.

The tape is a 7.5 inch per second stereo recording.
The reel was played on a modified Revox A77 reel-to-reel machine with a Reutelhuber custom
designed and built tape head preamplifier incorporating 2003 era technology and components
including all metal film resistors, polypropelene coupling capacitors, and low ESR
electrolytic supply bypass capacitors. The resulting analog signal was digitized
by a Mytek Digital 8X96 analog to digital converter using Steinberg Nuendo as the
recording software and saved as a 24 bit 48 kHz wave file.

Post processing and was done with Nuendo using the following Waves
Plugins: X-Hum, Q10, C1 comp-gate, LinEQ Lowband, S1 Imager and L3. The file was dithered down to a
16 bit/44.1kHz wave file.
