So nice to hear shows such as this one, and an interesting one it is. If you listen carefully, you'll notice that track 26 is the first few measures of "I Ain't Broke, But I'm Badly Bent" which leads off the tape on track 1. So, perhaps the ordering of things is a bit off. There are many clues that suggest that this show is from 1965 (e.g., Bill Monroe says that "I Live in the Past" will be his next Decca release, and this song was issued on 12/18/65), perhaps from a venue called "The Bluegrass Cellar". Bobby Smith and the Boys From Shiloh were a popular bluegrass band in Nashville, so perhaps it was recorded in Nashville. This would not be surprising, given Tut Taylor's guest appearance. While my ears could be deceiving me, it sure sounds like Peter Rowan on vocals at times, which would fit, as he was playing with Bill Monroe in late-1965. OK, here's what I've been able to sort out. Thanks for making this tape available!!!
