Zappa Plays Zappa
Friday June 16 2006
Hummingbird Centre , Toronto

Location: very back of Orchestra section, row ZZ, right near the sound boards. I have never heard better sound! The overhang of the second level kep the echoes to a minimum.

Lineage: CSB's w/bat.box and bass filter > analog in > M-audio Microtrack 24/96 at 24bit/48KHZ > Sound Forge 6.0E > flac

*Important Note: These are 24-bit/48KHZ files suitable for burning to DVD-A, audio DVD-V, etc.

Notes:

* Napoleon Murphy Broc not present, due to "family emergency". This, if nothing else, makes this a unique show.

* The low end is not overpowering here, so turn it up!

* Track 1 starts about a second late... damn Microtrack!

* Apparently, this particular venue writes an 11:00 PM curfew into their contracts, so several songs were cut from the second set (E.G. Camarillio Brillo). Maybe it's sacriligious to suggest this, but if Dweezil knew the show would be shortened, why didn't he cut the half-hour pre-show video out, to give the band more time to play the complete show? OH well, it was still an amazing night I will treasure for years to come.
