From Kawabata's blog entry (via Google Translate):
As soon as I stepped onto the stage, I experienced the "Seven Wonders of
Live Performances" — the fact that I somehow didn't feel any symptoms of
illness or injury while performing. If this was still effective, I could
still go wild, and I tried to compensate for any difficulties in
creating the sound with my physical strength. The heat and humidity on
stage were unbearable, to the point where it felt like I had jumped into
a pool fully clothed, but all the waste products in my body had been
expelled, and I was able to go on to the next stage feeling refreshed
and go wild. Like Namba Bears, which sadly closed down some time ago,
Bottom of the Hill also had a number of regular customers who frequented
the venue, and I caught a glimpse of some old regulars who I hadn't seen
at any other live performances. So tonight, I put on a setlist that was
like a medley of hits. While the large number of songs might have made
it feel a little rushed, it was a fitting finale for Bottom of the Hill.
With cheers for Cotton, who was participating in the West Coast round
for the first time in 24 years since 2002, the show unfolded with a
furious, relentless pace, culminating in a grand finale.

Tonight I performed a 90-minute set. I struggled with the amp settings again tonight, but thanks to yesterday's trial and error, I managed to reach a minimum level that I could be satisfied with. I've shifted to a new setting since the domestic tour I did just before this tour, but with the Marshall head I borrowed this time, the settings seem to have backfired. Tomorrow I'll start by reviewing the lineup of effect pedals.
