Soundboard with microphones - live matrix mix cassette master. Though this show has been seeded before from another audience master, this is the first wider circulation from this better-sounding source. That alternate source provided the few seconds that this one needed to make it perfect. Excellent sound quality and performance too!

Lineage: Monitor soundboard feed with 2 Crown PZM microphones over stage, 2 Nakamichi cm300 microphones over stage and one other ambient mic. mounted on balcony railing. Live matrix mix > Sony auto-reverse cassette deck > Dolby C encoded Maxell MX90 (metal tape) master (2 cassettes).

Transfer: Nakamichi Dragon (Dolby C decoded) > Macintosh with DigiDesign AudioMedia III card > Pro Tools (nip and tuck edits, normalization and tracking) > AIFF > xACT (Flac level 8 files with sector boundaries verified).

There is a very short seamless splice from the alternate source audience cassette master (lineage: Nakamichi cm300 > Sony tcd5m > Flac > Dime) during "Big Big Man" for a tape flip.
