We return to ukj69�s analog captures with night two of the six-show run Joel played at Nassau Coliseum over a two-and-a-half-week stretch. We�re skipping opening night for now since it already circulates, though it will eventually be included.

As with the first analog release, these tapes come with their own set of challenges. They were recorded using a lapel microphone that struggles with high-volume bass and occasionally produces over-saturation. Much of that has been reduced during mastering, and the result is quite listenable, though some low-level distortion remains to varying degrees.

Our commitment is that no tape gets left behind. The analog side of the archive will focus on shows where these captures are the only surviving source of which this is one (and maybe a few Recorder 2's thrown in here and there). Restoring these masters is a time-intensive process-especially when the more �high-energy� performances push the original equipment into distortion-so analog releases will arrive at a slower, more deliberate pace.

We�re fortunate that ukj69 was present at hundreds of shows, even before upgrading his gear, leaving us with an extraordinary number of previously unheard recordings.

Tapers, don't let your archives fade away. If you need assistance releasing Masters or other generation tapes, know that I and many others are ready to help. Your archives deserve to be shared with the world�after all, you can�t take them with you, so let no tape be left behind!
