I didn't think I'd be at this show. Original ticket sales were by lottery given that Schaefer Center only holds 1600 seats. I didn't hit the lottery so I figured I'd get on the waitlist and end up watching on Nugs like everyone else. Then the day before the show I was sitting down for lunch and as I pulled out my phone I got an alert from Ticketmaster that a set of tickets were available. I couldn't believe my luck. The waitlist came through and I scored two tickets practically dead center of the front row of the balcony just over the soundboard. With work schedules and little notice, getting there and getting parked was an ordeal but I was there. I was able to set the mics on the ledge just below the rail and came away with a really clean capture.
