Notes
The recording is from the Tommy Stevenson collection. Special thanks to his son, Thomas, for locating the surviving masters and loaning them out for transfer. Transferred by Richard Russell, March 2026.
This recording filled up most of Side 2 of one 90-minute cassette and all of a second 90-minute cassette.
Chris Barber introduced "Tipitina's Blues" as a song without a name but, for that night, they're calling it "Tipitina's Blues."
Tape flips during Good Queen Bess and between Ride On and Iko Iko.
There is no explanation for the complete version of Big Bass Drum to be followed by the ending of a different version. The listing in the Times-Picayune only says one 10:30 show.
